Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in retail or customer service
- experience working with children and children’s events
- strong communication skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- ability to perform store operational duties including stocking and unloading trucks
- capability to interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- willingness to learn and cross-train in store functions

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- create backup and emergency plans as necessary
- ensure client satisfaction for all scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after events
- help customers shop and locate products providing solutions
- provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- promote Rewards program and private label credit card enrollments
- educate customers about Voice of Customer survey
- assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- perform merchandise recovery and maintenance
- execute Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- interact respectfully with guests and coworkers promoting organizational values
- cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
- perform other duties as assigned
