Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in event coordination or customer service roles
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others including guests of all ages and co-workers
- Ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to work in a public retail store setting including climate controlled and non-controlled areas
- Compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed
- Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- Provide fast and friendly check out experience
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- Participate in the truck un-load, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner

- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including (but not limited to) sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms
