Job Requirements

  • Part-time availability for 20-25 hours weekly
  • Ability to work on-site in Burlington, VT
  • Willingness to work occasional extended or variable hours for events
  • Comfortable with light physical activity such as moving tables and chairs

  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in events, hospitality, community management, or related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Comfortable with light physical activity (moving tables/chairs, setting up rooms)
  • Proficiency with event software, Google Workspace, and CRM tools is a plus
  • High energy, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Creative approach to programming and community building
  • Comfortable working evenings or early mornings depending on event schedule
  • Team player who collaborates well with multiple departments

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal community events such as member mixers, workshops, other mission-aligned events, and networking sessions
  • Follow up on incoming leads/event inquiries
  • Support logistics for external/tenant events, including room setup, AV needs, vendor coordination, and event flow
  • Manage event calendars, RSVPs, and attendance tracking
  • Create run-of-show documents and ensure all event details are executed on schedule
  • Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and properly staged before and after events
  • Coordinate with Facilities and/or moving team for furniture setup, supplies, and turnaround needs
  • Support management of event inventory (decor, AV equipment, signage, etc.)
  • Build relationships with members and partners to identify event needs, gather feedback, and source programming opportunities
  • Serve as an event-day point of contact for members, presenters, and vendors
  • Represent the coworking brand with professionalism, warmth, and strong customer service
  • Collaborate with marketing using internal tools to promote events across email, social, and in-space signage
  • Capture event content (photos, key highlights) for newsletters and social posts as needed
  • Ensure all event descriptions, schedules, and materials are accurate and current
  • Assist in booking facilitators, speakers, catering, and other event vendors
  • Support partner activations, sponsorships, and co-hosted events
