Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail or event coordination preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to interact positively with customers and team members
  • Basic computer skills for administrative tasks
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients of all ages in a creative and fun environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create and implement backup or emergency plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and breaking down events
  • Assist customers with shopping and product location
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in rewards and credit card programs
  • Educate customers about Voice of Customer surveys
  • Support omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform store inventory optimization and advertising set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • Cross-trained in custom framing sales and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness and maintenance
