Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and POS
  • Knowledge of Delphi software preferred
  • Valid driver's license may be required
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands regularly, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and POS software
  • Familiarity with Delphi event management software
  • Prior supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Contact customers face-to-face, by telephone, and/or email to confirm, coordinate, and update event details
  • Detail each group's event needs including menu planning, meal time, and room set
  • Conduct facility tours and sight visits for groups
  • Track guarantees and deadlines
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Food and Beverage departments to ensure arrangements are carried out
  • Assist in coordinating department members including servers, hosts, and setup staff
  • Monitor business volume forecasts and plan manpower, productivity, and costs
  • Implement and maintain excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
  • Communicate changes or new policies to staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all services rendered
