Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in retail or customer service
- experience working with children and children’s events
- excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup plans for events
- ensure client satisfaction
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and breaking down events
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
- assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram execution
- maintain merchandise recovery and store appearance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- interact respectfully with customers and team members
- cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
- perform other duties as assigned
