Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Hospitality supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 plus lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to adapt to various tasks including other duties as assigned
  • On-site work at the hotel property

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • Hospitality supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable of all hotel equipment used in event coordination
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to train and motivate staff
  • Experience in event planning and sales
  • Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and finalize all events that occur at the property
  • Proactively plan with hotel staff, caterers, and other entities to ensure event success
  • Serve as primary guest contact for group meeting planners
  • Manage contracts, cancellations, conference center rate analysis, and event billing
  • Communicate with caterers regarding guest requests, menus, and food quality
  • Support hotel operations as Manager on Duty as needed
  • Achieve sales and marketing goals through client acquisition and follow-up
