Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Experience in hospitality supervision preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull over 50 lbs
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to work onsite at the hotel property
  • Willingness to handle multiple tasks and other duties as assigned
  • Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures including fire prevention
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • Hospitality supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel equipment and ability to train others
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in event planning or hospitality sales
  • Proficient in managing event logistics and client communications

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and finalize all hotel events
  • Proactively plan events with hotel staff and external caterers
  • Maximize event revenues and meet profit goals
  • Serve as the primary guest contact for group meeting planners
  • Manage event contracts, cancellations, and billing
  • Represent the hotel in community and hospitality industry events
  • Train and motivate event staff and banquet personnel
