Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Experience in hospitality supervision preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull over 50 lbs
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work onsite at the hotel property
- Willingness to handle multiple tasks and other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures including fire prevention
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Hospitality supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of hotel equipment and ability to train others
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in event planning or hospitality sales
- Proficient in managing event logistics and client communications
Job Duties
- Coordinate and finalize all hotel events
- Proactively plan events with hotel staff and external caterers
- Maximize event revenues and meet profit goals
- Serve as the primary guest contact for group meeting planners
- Manage event contracts, cancellations, and billing
- Represent the hotel in community and hospitality industry events
- Train and motivate event staff and banquet personnel
