Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in events or marketing
  • Knowledge of local markets
  • Experienced in marketing including social media
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to generate reports and write briefs
  • Familiarity with youth culture and event trends

Job Duties

  • Take ownership of events and initiatives to create a unique Generator experience
  • Assist the Events Manager in developing and implementing a regular programme of creative, revenue-driving events
  • Respond to all incoming enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Ensure all events are managed from enquiry to confirmation and function sheets are completed promptly
  • Communicate all event-related correspondence to relevant parties
  • Conduct venue show rounds for potential clients
  • Collaborate with local and international brands on event-led marketing campaigns
  • Drive the private hire proposition and monetize social spaces within the property
  • Build relationships with local influencers and maintain a useful contact database
  • Ensure social spaces embody the Generator brand and culture
  • Communicate effectively with the wider team about the importance of events
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required
