Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Two years of professional experience in event planning or related field
  • Proficiency with event scheduling software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of professional experience in event planning, venue coordination, or contract administration
  • Proficiency with event scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in negotiating and executing event-related contracts
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving and client satisfaction skills
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event space inquiries
  • Manage and maintain central event scheduling software
  • Draft, process, and manage facility contracts and service agreements
  • Coordinate billing, payment schedules, and security deposits with Business Office and clients
  • Maintain detailed records of bookings, contracts, and financial transactions
  • Liaise with internal departments for event services and staffing
  • Develop and distribute event orders to operational departments
  • Support Director of Events in executing large-scale college functions
  • Schedule and lead site visits and facility tours
  • Develop and maintain professional client relationships
  • Serve as main communication conduit between client and College
