Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of event coordination or planning experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be able to read, write and fluently speak English
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and vendors simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of coordinating or planning special events
- Ability to utilize various software programs including Microsoft Office, SalesForce, Delphi, and Social Tables
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with various artists and talent agents
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Bilingual skills are helpful
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Job Duties
- Work closely with resort management to plan and execute details of special events to include talent booking and vendor coordination
- Lead the implementation of events that reinforce the Kalahari brand, drive attendance and enhance the guest experience
- Supervise the work of vendors, artists and subcontractors checking the quality of completed work
- Understand all duties of Banquet and Audio-Visual Teams to assist when needed
- Develop concepts for new monetized events and celebrations
- Prospect artists and secure booking of approved talent in multiple venues
- Guide and inspire associates while ensuring events run seamlessly
