Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Experience working with children’s events preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by fostering an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft project completion and perform activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans for emergencies
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintain store standards
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
- Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
