Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children and organizing children’s events
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladder equipment
  • strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • ability to handle stress and maintain positive interactions
  • US legal authorization to work
  • ability to perform physical tasks required of the role

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in completion of craft projects and activities including face painting
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls and completing paperwork
  • adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
  • create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold company’s cleanliness and safety standards including set up, break down and cleaning before and after each event
  • help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and complete enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company compliance policies
  • interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
  • cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and restroom maintenance
