Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders or similar equipment
  • Must be eligible to meet federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must be able to maintain a positive and respectful demeanor in all interactions
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with retail and event coordination

  • Organizational, interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills
  • Retail and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create backup plans for events
  • Ensure client satisfaction
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
  • Help customers shop and find products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • Participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully and maintain a positive image
  • Cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
