Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in event coordination or retail customer service
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves using ladders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and children's events
  • Customer service or retail experience
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • Creative problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and perform face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create backup or emergency plans for events
  • Ensure client satisfaction
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and complete enrollments for rewards and credit card programs
  • Educate customers on customer feedback surveys
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Maintain merchandise recovery and store appearance
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
  • Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
