Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or a related field preferred
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must be able to perform basic computer tasks and use email
  • Must follow all safety and company policies
  • US applicants must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate with clients and store team members regarding events
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs
  • Create backup plans for events as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact positively and respectfully with others
  • Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
