Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladder or equipment
- Compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to perform physical tasks assigned
- Ability to engage respectfully and positively with customers and team members
- Capability to participate in store operational activities including truck unload, stocking, and merchandising
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Excellent people and communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons to company standards
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust and customize events based on client feedback and needs
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
