Job Requirements

Ability to remain standing for long periods
Ability to move throughout the store
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
Ability to perform physical activities required by the job
Good communication skills
Prior experience working with children’s events
Reliability and availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience planning and coordinating events
Experience working with children and children’s events
Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Retail and/or customer service experience
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with diverse guests
Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Creative problem-solving skills

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
Facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons according to company standards
Communicate event details with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
Adjust events based on client feedback and needs
Create backup or emergency plans for events
Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety before and after events
Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies
Interact respectfully with customers and team members
Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
