Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children and children’s events
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain standing for long periods
Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
Must comply with federal, state, and local legal job requirements
Flexible to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Ability to work in a public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas
Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
Communicate event details with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
Adjust event plans based on client feedback and ensure satisfaction
Uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and breaking down events
Help customers shop and locate products
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
Promote rewards programs and process enrollments
Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
Interact respectfully with customers and team members
Cross train in custom framing selling and production
Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
