Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum three years related conference, facility, and/or special events experience
  • Experience with Ad Astra scheduling platform
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Job Duties

  • Manage event scheduling using the Ad Astra Event Scheduler platform
  • Review and approve event requests
  • Communicate event needs to campus service providers
  • Maintain accurate information on event spaces, resources, calendars, and workflow settings
  • Manage facility rental process including inquiries, site visits, agreement preparation, and client coordination
  • Assist in maintaining the Event Services website content
  • Support and lead planning and execution of college-sponsored events
