Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children and children’s events
  • retail or customer service experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladder
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • ability to engage positively with others
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback and needs
  • create backup or emergency plans as needed
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold company cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • educate customer on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with others
  • cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
