Job Requirements

Ability to remain standing for long periods
physical ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch
capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
experience working with children
retail or customer service experience
good communication skills
must be able to engage customers of all ages
ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as scheduled
willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards
ability to work in a public retail store setting with some outdoor tasks and stockroom conditions

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
experience in event coordination or working with children’s events
retail or customer service experience
excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and nonverbal
strong organizational and interpersonal skills
creative problem-solving abilities
ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
enthusiastic and energetic personality

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
communicate effectively with clients and store team members
complete administrative tasks including email correspondence and paperwork
adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
help customers shop and locate products
provide fast and friendly checkout
promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
support shrink and safety programs
follow company SOPs and policies
interact positively and respectfully with customers and teammates
cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
