Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in event coordination or related field preferred
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with diverse customers and team members
Must be able to stand for long periods
Capable of bending, lifting, carrying, and reaching during work
Ability to move throughout the store efficiently
Must meet federal, state, and local legal employment requirements
Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Comfortable working in climate controlled and non-climate controlled environments
Willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects and perform face painting
Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
Communicate events with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
Adjust event plans based on client feedback
Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
Uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after events
Help customers shop and locate products
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
Promote Benefits programs like Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards
Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
Participate in truck unloading and merchandise stocking
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
Interact with others respectfully and positively
Cross train in custom framing selling and production
Participate in store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
Perform other duties as assigned
