Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in retail or event coordination preferred
  • ability to engage with customers of all ages
  • capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and reaching
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures
  • ability to perform merchandise and operational duties
  • must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating fun and creative environments
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback
  • create backup plans for events
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards including setup and breakdown
  • assist customers with product location and shopping
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • assist with buy online pickup in store (BOPIS) and ship from store (SFS) processes
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
