Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or customer-facing roles
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks like lifting and reaching
  • Ability to move throughout a retail store environment
  • Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as required
  • Ability to engage customers and promote company programs

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Retail and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent people skills and ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • Ability to handle job stress and maintain professionalism in difficult situations

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members and complete relevant administrative tasks
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
