Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in event coordination or customer-facing roles
- Ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks like lifting and reaching
- Ability to move throughout a retail store environment
- Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as required
- Ability to engage customers and promote company programs
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Excellent people skills and ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills
- Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to handle job stress and maintain professionalism in difficult situations
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members and complete relevant administrative tasks
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
