Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Retail and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy boxes and using ladders
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage guests of all ages by fostering an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create backup plans for emergencies
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • Assist customers with shopping and product location
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Educate customers about Voice of Customer survey
  • Support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully with customers and team
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
