Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event planning or coordination preferred
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
  • Adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup or emergency plans
  • Help customers shop and locate products, providing helpful solutions
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Educate customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, complete enrollments
  • Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Interact respectfully with others, promote organizational values, and serve as a role model
  • Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
