Job Requirements

  • Preferred 1-3 years of professional service experience with event strategy development
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field or equivalent work experience in events, marketing or business development
  • Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a high degree of initiative and intellectual curiosity
  • Strong independent judgment to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented work environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Experience coordinating large-scale events
  • Excellent project and time management skills to develop project plans, coordinate projects, communicate changes and progress, complete projects on time and manage project team activities
  • Excellent organizational skills including record keeping, data collection and system information with ability to compile and analyze complex data and furnish concise detailed information in reports, correspondence, e-mail or verbally
  • Some travel required as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Work collaboratively with Events Team to drive strategies and shape high-quality events
  • Support in-person event logistics including venue negotiation, food and beverage selection, audiovisual and related activities
  • Conduct virtual events using platforms such as Webex, Zoom, Teams, and Cvent
  • Utilize Cvent software for event planning, management, and execution including registration and post-event analysis
  • Conduct and research site visits, select venues, and process contracts with procurement
  • Maintain accurate records and files for all event projects
  • Identify and manage appropriate contact/invite lists and track responses using technology and CRM
  • Work with Creative Team to design and produce event materials such as invitations, signage, and badges
  • Manage event budgets
  • Develop project timelines, status reports, and provide regular updates to Event Director and stakeholders
  • Assist with CLE accreditation process
  • Oversee management and distribution of promotional giveaways and inventory control
  • Collaborate with Campaigns Team on content strategy related to event topics
  • Drive lawyer follow-up post-event with Business Development Team
  • Compile program feedback, share post-event recaps, perform budget reconciliation, and update CRM
  • Coordinate with Digital Team to create and distribute event listing pages on social media
  • Track event key performance areas and identify improvements
  • Provide organizational and operational support to Event Director and Event Manager
