Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of related work experience preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work various shifts including flexible scheduling
- Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Professional appearance and personal hygiene required
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in confined spaces and on uneven surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent general education development (GED)
- At least one year of related work experience preferred
- No supervisory experience required
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Meet with group coordinators or hosts before the reception to review arrangements
- Read and analyze banquet orders to gather guest information and plan organization and timing
- Attend to and fulfill all special banquet preparations
- Follow up on special banquet preparations to ensure compliance
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain professional appearance and clean uniform
- Protect company privacy and property
- Support coworkers respectfully and contribute to team goals
- Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 25 pounds, standing or walking for long periods, and working in various physical environments
- Greet and acknowledge guests following company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
