Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience preferred
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work various shifts including flexible scheduling
  • Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Professional appearance and personal hygiene required
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and on uneven surfaces

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent general education development (GED)
  • At least one year of related work experience preferred
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before the reception to review arrangements
  • Read and analyze banquet orders to gather guest information and plan organization and timing
  • Attend to and fulfill all special banquet preparations
  • Follow up on special banquet preparations to ensure compliance
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Maintain professional appearance and clean uniform
  • Protect company privacy and property
  • Support coworkers respectfully and contribute to team goals
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 25 pounds, standing or walking for long periods, and working in various physical environments
  • Greet and acknowledge guests following company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
