Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 25 pounds unassisted
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret event orders
  • Commitment to following safety and security policies
  • Available to perform other reasonable job duties as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Basic knowledge of banquet event orders and setup requirements
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions to introduce and confirm arrangements
  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine setup and timeline
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Adhere to company safety and security policies and complete required training
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Communicate professionally with guests and team members via telephone and in person
