Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years professional cooking experience
  • culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • strong knowledge of catering industry trends
  • ability to maintain high food quality under pressure
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

  • physical stamina for long hours on feet
  • flexibility to work varied shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years professional cooking experience in high-volume kitchen environments
  • culinary degree or certification preferred
  • knowledge of current catering industry trends
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining detail and food quality
  • familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work long hours on foot in varying temperature environments
  • flexibility to work different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Lead daily kitchen operations within your assigned area
  • guide and mentor culinary teams to deliver exceptional food quality, flawless technique, consistent portioning, presentation, and cost control
  • champion ingredient excellence by inspecting freshness, participating in tastings, and standardizing production recipes
  • maintain seamless production flow by monitoring inventory levels and preventing shortages
  • drive culinary innovation and catering excellence through creative ideas
  • uphold rigorous production standards to guarantee timelines, quality benchmarks, and client specifications
  • support the Executive Chef with proposal development, creative menu concepts, food cost control, operational reporting, and team scheduling
  • optimize staffing coverage and travel to catered events
  • enforce strict compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, equipment care, and cleanliness standards
  • train, motivate and manage kitchen personnel and supervise culinary activities as assigned
