Job Requirements
- completion of specialized training in occupational field
- basic skills associated with high school education
- experience through apprenticeship/internship or similar position for one to three years
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- valid driver’s license
- supervisory experience preferred
- knowledge of audio visual equipment operation
- ability to perform physical requirements such as lifting, climbing, and operating equipment
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of principles and practices of facilities and grounds maintenance and repair
- knowledge of principles and practices of audiovisual equipment operation
- skill in operation of forklifts, hi-lifts, sweepers, scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners
- skill in problem solving and decision making
- skill in management and supervision
- skill in performance of landscaping activities
- skill in oral and written communication
- ability to operate a motor vehicle
- ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations
Job Duties
- support an organizational culture where customer service is paramount
- assign daily work activities
- set board for upcoming events
- ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- consult supervisor regarding room setups or equipment requirements
- coordinate training
- assign, schedule, supervise and recommend discipline for personnel
- assist in room setup assignments
- break down and clean rooms after events
- supervise and participate in cleaning and maintenance of facility and grounds
- receive and assist in unloading merchandise
- ensure delivery to proper areas
- recommend need for temporary labor
- request additional personnel as needed
- monitor and track audiovisual sign in/out log
- ensure placement and return of all equipment
- work after hours, on weekends, and on holidays as necessary
- perform other related duties as assigned
