Job Requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow through on tasks
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana and communication tools like Slack
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, climb ladders, move carts, and organize inventory
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to the church’s mission and values
- Willingness to attend regular meetings
- Ability to serve at church-wide events
Job Qualifications
- A balanced combination of people skills and administrative ability
- Strong organizational habits with attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and similar tools
- Project-management mindset with ability to juggle multiple timelines
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments and performing light physical tasks
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Committed member of The Summit Church or willing to become one
- Availability for weekly team meetings, monthly director meetings, and occasional evening and weekend events
Job Duties
- Manage central events warehouse including inventory tracking, organization, and asset stewardship
- Rebuild or reinvent the warehouse management system to establish sustainable processes
- Serve as a resource for event owners advising on equipment and event needs
- Fulfill resourcing requests including pulling items, prepping for pickup, tracking usage, restocking, and communicating with event owners
- Partner with campus locations to maintain accurate inventories of event closets
- Coordinate resourcing for campus-specific special events
- Collaborate with Events Director and GSE team to create excellent environments for church-wide events
- Take ownership of a small portfolio of events or environments, managing planning, preparation, execution, and teardown
- Ensure event systems and processes meet high standards of clarity, quality, and consistency
- Assist with event intake, client communication, and external event management
- Provide support during peak ministry seasons
