Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or education related to event setup and operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or education related to event setup and operations
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Warehousing and organization skills preferred
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Knowledge of assembly, setup, and removal of a portable NCAA Division I basketball court
  • Knowledge of setting up stages, barriers, risers, chairs for concerts and events
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Understanding of event safety and standard practices
  • Skills in organizing and directing temporary employees
  • Self-motivation and ability to perform tasks without constant supervision
  • Ability to complete tasks on time and follow instructions
  • Strong teamwork and positive contribution to culture
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and operate effectively in unclear situations
  • Ability to delegate, direct work, and remove obstacles

Job Duties

  • Event setup for each event including floors, chairs, tables, stages, furniture, pipe and drape, barricades, risers, bleachers, railings, and ensuring safety of areas and items
  • Event strike after each event including floors, chairs, tables, stages, furniture, pipe and drape, barricades, risers, bleachers, railings, and maintaining safety for team members
  • Maintenance of all operations related equipment
  • Assisting with inventory management and organizing operational supplies
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure timely event execution
  • Monitoring compliance with safety regulations during setups and strikes
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
