Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in event management hospitality marketing or a related field
  • minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning or coordination
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency in microsoft office suite and event management software
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed

Job Duties

  • assist in the planning and coordination of various events
  • communicate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and services
  • manage event logistics including venue setup and breakdown catering and equipment rentals
  • support the events manager in developing event budgets and tracking expenses
  • create and maintain event schedules and timelines to ensure smooth execution
  • liaise with participants and attendees providing information and assistance as needed
  • collect feedback from event participants to improve future events
