Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field
  • Proven experience in event coordination or a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to work on-site at the Chicago, IL office location
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Assist in planning and coordinating various events from inception to completion
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials
  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and transportation
  • Maintain event budgets and track expenses to ensure financial adherence
  • Assist in promoting events through social media, newsletters, and other channels
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs according to schedule
  • Gather feedback post-event to evaluate success and areas for improvement
