Job Requirements

  • at least 2 years experience in hospitality industry or related tasks
  • valid motor vehicle operator's license
  • excellent public relations skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • working knowledge of modern office procedures and equipment
  • ability to work 20 to 30 hours per week including occasional weekends and evenings
  • availability for Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule

Job Duties

  • assist in a variety of event operations and activities
  • perform clerical work related to events including correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining records
  • answer the phone for the venue and field calls and inquiries
  • take client payments and answer financial or invoicing questions accurately
  • supervise events to ensure clients needs are accomplished and events are executed to the highest standards
  • display vast knowledge of venue caterers, vendors and facilities and articulate information professionally to clients
  • maintain a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests and clients
