Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • previous experience in event planning or assistance is advantageous
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
  • flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Job Duties

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events from start to finish
  • coordinate with vendors, venues, and catering services to ensure all aspects of the event are covered
  • manage event logistics including set up, registration, and tear down activities
  • assist in the creation of event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage
  • maintain budgets by tracking expenses and payments related to the events
  • research and recommend new vendors and venues for future events
