Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or volunteer management preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work full time and flexible hours as needed
  • Competency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver license
  • Access to vehicle
  • Ability to engage with community and donors
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adhere to nonprofit regulations and policies

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a volunteer is helpful
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written, listening, and interviewing
  • Ability to plan and organize activities collaboratively
  • Leadership skills to motivate donors and sponsors
  • Creative and innovative thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with fundraising tracking or database software desirable
  • Valid driver license meeting insurance requirements
  • Access to reliable vehicle

Job Duties

  • Manage logistics and operations of events including venue selection and vendor management
  • Develop and manage event budgets, schedules, and risk management plans
  • Coordinate marketing and promotion strategies for events
  • Handle attendee registration, ticketing, and communications
  • Cultivate and secure fundraising sponsors and donations
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision
  • Oversee on-site execution of events ensuring smooth operations
  • Conduct post-event evaluation and reporting including feedback collection and financial analysis
