Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field strongly preferred
- At least three years of experience in corporate event coordination, marketing, or sponsorship management is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, rules of composition and grammar, and AP style
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to operate standard office equipment
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities to effectively meet multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range event goals
- Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods
- Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment
- Ability to stoop and bend regularly, and lift up to 25 lbs
- 20-30% travel may be required, including 1 - 2 overnight trips per month
- Extended work hours may be required occasionally due to special events
- Attendance and participation at networking, training, and industry functions may begin early and extend into evenings
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
Job Qualifications

- Minimum of three years experience in corporate event coordination, marketing, or sponsorship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of English composition, grammar, and AP style
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Skilled in organizing resources and prioritizing tasks
- Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-term event strategies
- Experience with event platforms like Zoom and Smartsheet
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple stakeholders
- Positive, outgoing, and approachable demeanor
Job Duties
- Manage and support the planning of events both live and virtual for internal and external audiences
- Work with MarComm team, executive leadership, heads of office, and other internal departments to plan and execute MMA events
- Maintain budgets for events and provide post-event financial reports
- Research and negotiate with vendors, venues, and event providers
- Manage communications with vendors, staff, producers, sponsors, and attendees
- Oversee logistics and registration for events, managing attendee databases
- Utilize project management tools for team collaboration
- Collaborate with creative team on marketing deliverables for events
- Set up and host internal and external regional webinars
- Manage gift and branded merchandise requests for events
- Maintain regional and national event calendars
- Provide onsite support for company events including setup and breakdown
- Support the coordination and fulfillment of paid sponsorships
- Oversee delivery of sponsorship benefits including materials and hospitality
- Assist with logistics related to sponsor assets
- Collaborate with internal teams and sponsored entities to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain sponsorship records and support contract compliance
- Work with legal and finance teams on sponsorship contracts and payments
- Evaluate sponsorship effectiveness and support future planning
- Identify and recommend new sponsorship opportunities
