Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, public administration, marketing, public relations, journalism, mass communication, or related field
- two years of professional marketing, public relations, special event planning, promotion, mass communications, development, fundraising, promotion of public programs and services, or retail sales and management experience
- one year in a lead work capacity
- valid Texas Class “C” driver's license or equivalent by time of appointment
- applicants limited to current City of El Paso employees working in the El Paso International Airport department
- translation and evaluation of foreign diplomas prior to submission

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, public administration, marketing, public relations, journalism, mass communication, or related field
- two years of professional experience in marketing, public relations, special event planning, promotion, mass communications, development, fundraising, or retail sales and management
- at least one year in a lead work capacity
- valid Texas Class “C” driver's license or equivalent
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to design and implement marketing campaigns
- experience managing budgets and supervising staff
- proficiency with digital and traditional marketing platforms
- knowledge of community outreach strategies
Job Duties
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and oversee special event programming
- develop and execute marketing strategies to increase facility visibility
- plan and implement advertising campaigns, outreach efforts, and promotional initiatives
- evaluate marketing activities for effectiveness using KPIs
- lead attainment of revenue goals through various sales and sponsorship opportunities
- coordinate events and marketing with other city departments
- design promotional materials and manage advertising campaigns across multiple media
- conduct market research through surveys and focus groups
- monitor marketing budgets and prepare reports
- develop and maintain public/private partnerships and sponsorships
- supervise assigned personnel including scheduling, performance appraisal, and training
