Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
  • Working knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of event planning and production and public relations
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate several projects simultaneously with demanding timeframes
  • Good judgment and effective decision-making and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, video/audio conferencing platforms, and familiarity with Zoom
  • Detail-oriented and able to work accurately under deadline pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse individuals and groups
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse backgrounds
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, video/audio conferencing platforms, and familiarity with Zoom
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive and collaborative environments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically to solve problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred
  • Experience managing event budgets, communication strategies, reporting, and data tracking preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist with and/or execute all aspects of pre- and post-event coordination, including securing venues, accommodations, catering, and other vendors
  • Coordinate communications, monitor speaker and guest registration, and respond to speaker requests
  • Process event budgets, expenses, and reimbursements and perform timely reconciliation of costs
  • Provide day-of event operational support and attend all events
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive events calendar, resolving scheduling conflicts proactively
  • Support virtual events and provide other event-related administrative support
  • Coordinate student programming including recruiting fairs, career mixers, networking events, certificate program management, and support student engagement activities
  • Communicate regularly with sponsor law firm recruiters and provide reporting on attendance and ROI
  • Promote student events through email, social media, and printed materials
  • Prepare written and visual communication content for various platforms
  • Work with student assistants to coordinate projects, oversee administrative tasks, and facilitate onboarding
  • Maintain and report on Salesforce and Monday databases related to programs and sponsors
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
