Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • have basic fluency in English
  • possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance
  • have access to reliable transportation
  • be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
  • have availability mainly in evenings and weekends
  • able to commit to the minimum term commitment of the position

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • legally eligible to work in the United States
  • basic fluency in English for composing marketing materials and reports
  • possess current driver’s license and liability insurance
  • access to reliable transportation
  • physical ability to perform various physical activities including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • availability for weekly hours mainly evenings and weekends
  • ability to commit to the minimum term of service
  • previous event planning experience preferred
  • experience working within a budget preferred
  • relevant social media experience preferred
  • network of support through potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and host one event each month for apartment residents
  • provide a caring touch to residents and staff with support from community
  • enhance online reputation by encouraging residents to share about their experience
  • develop marketing materials such as calendars, flyers, and social media posts
  • manage event budgets
  • prepare monthly activity summaries
  • collaborate with staff and program director for planning and development
  • engage support team of volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impact
