Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements and reports
  • Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance
  • Have access to reliable transportation
  • Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Have availability for evening and weekend hours
  • Commit to a two-year term of service

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Have basic fluency in English to create marketing materials and write reports
  • Possess a current driver’s license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Be physically able to perform tasks including stairs use, bending, sitting, standing, stooping, and carrying up to 25 pounds
  • Have availability to commit weekly hours mainly evenings and weekends
  • Able to commit to a two-year service term
  • Previous event planning experience preferred
  • Experience working within a budget preferred
  • Relevant experience using social media preferred
  • Established network of potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and host two events each month for residents to foster community and connection
  • Provide personal and caring support to residents and staff with assistance from residents and community networks
  • Promote the community's online reputation by encouraging residents to share their experiences
  • Create marketing materials such as monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts
  • Manage and oversee the event budget process
  • Prepare monthly summary reports on community engagement and activities
  • Collaborate with staff and program directors for planning, equipping, and development
  • Engage volunteers, vendors, and community partners to enhance program impact
  • Conduct visits to new residents after move-in and residents nearing lease end to connect and support them
