Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements and reports
  • possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance
  • have access to reliable transportation
  • be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
  • have availability to commit weekly hours mainly evenings and weekends
  • be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • possess a current driver's license and liability insurance
  • access to reliable transportation

  • availability for weekly hours mainly in evenings and weekends
  • ability to make minimum term commitment in the apartment community
  • previous event planning experience preferred
  • experience with budgeting preferred
  • social media experience preferred
  • established network of support through volunteers, vendors, or partners preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and host 2 to 4 events each month for apartment residents with the aim of caring for and connecting them
  • provide a caring touch to residents and staff with support from other residents and community resources
  • enhance online reputation by encouraging residents to share their experiences
  • develop marketing materials including calendars, flyers, and social media posts
  • manage the event budget process and prepare monthly summaries
  • meet regularly with staff and program director for planning and development
  • engage volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize event impact
  • visit new residents after move-in and residents nearing lease end to build connections
