Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Basic fluency in English to compose marketing materials and reports
- Possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance and have reliable transportation
- Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
- Availability to commit weekly hours mainly in evenings and weekends
- Ability to make the minimum term commitment of two years
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing and reports
- Possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance with reliable transportation
- Be physically able to perform job physical demands
- Availability to commit to weekly hours mainly in evenings and weekends
- Ability to commit to a minimum two-year term
- Previous event planning experience preferred
- Experience working within a budget preferred
- Relevant social media experience preferred
- Have a network of support through volunteers or community partners preferred
Job Duties
- Plan and host 2 events each month for residents with the purpose of caring and connecting residents to one another and local services
- Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with support from volunteers and community networks
- Enhance online reputation by encouraging residents to share their experiences
- Develop marketing materials such as calendars, flyers, and social media posts
- Manage the event budget and prepare monthly summaries
- Collaborate with staff and program director for planning and development
- Engage a support team of volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impact
- Visit new or moving residents to connect personally
