Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • legally eligible to work in the United States
  • basic fluency in English
  • current driver’s license and liability insurance
  • access to reliable transportation
  • physically able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • availability to work evenings and weekends
  • ability to commit to two-year term

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • legally eligible to work in the United States
  • basic fluency in English for composing marketing and reports
  • possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance
  • access to reliable transportation
  • physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • available to work primarily evenings and weekends
  • able to commit to a two-year term
  • previous event planning experience preferred
  • experience managing a budget preferred
  • familiarity with social media preferred
  • established network of volunteers or community partners preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and host two events each month to engage and care for residents
  • provide personal care and connect residents and staff with community resources
  • develop marketing materials including calendars, flyers, and social media posts
  • manage event budget and prepare monthly summaries
  • collaborate with staff and program director for planning and development
  • engage volunteers, vendors, and partners to support events
  • visit new and departing residents to build relationships
