Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • experience in event coordination or hospitality preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • ability to lead volunteer teams effectively
  • knowledge of inventory management
  • commitment to church mission and values
  • availability to work during church events and office hours

Job Duties

  • Coordinate events and meetings at Armour, Sandy Springs, and any future campuses of Christ Covenant
  • manage church-wide events including First Sundays, Member Meetings, Special Events, and other events as directed by the Director of Events
  • coordinate Deacon and Elder Meetings and Events
  • assist and coordinate with larger ministry events like Reach the World, Kids Camp, Bless the City as capacity allows
  • lead Event and Hospitality Volunteer Serve Teams including the Lounge Team, Connect Team, and Special Events Team
  • host The Collective during office hours by welcoming guests and answering office phone
  • manage and order inventory such as snacks, water coolers, coffee supplies, paper goods, drinks, and catering supplies
  • maintain a welcoming atmosphere including music, cleanliness, and tidiness
  • keep conference rooms stocked and tidy
  • manage Lost and Found
  • organize pantry and storage areas
  • assist the Director of Events and Hospitality with special projects and tasks
  • manage Christmas and Easter decor alongside the Creative Team
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • manage relationships with staff, elders, committees, and volunteers
  • ensure all work aligns with Christ Covenant staff values
