Job Requirements

  • Valid Nevada driver's license
  • Proof of insurance
  • Pre-employment background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen
  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of event coordination experience
  • Vendor management skills
  • General accounting and business procedures knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Local travel availability
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service
  • 1-2 years of experience working with events
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience with general accounting and business procedures
  • Donor management skills a plus
  • Excellent computer skills including competency with databases, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to coordinate structured initiatives from initiation through completion
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Accountability, reliability, and sound judgment in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

  • Coordinate logistics for all food drives including data input, driver coordination for drop offs and pick ups
  • Coordinate and execute the Food Bank's established events including volunteer and internal employee events under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications
  • Coordinate logistics and details for all second- and third-party events and food drive opportunities ensuring alignment with fundraising, brand, and mission standards
  • Coordinate logistics and details for employees, donor, and volunteer events supporting various team members
  • Coordinate and communicate event objectives, timelines, budgets, stakeholders, and appropriate follow-up activities
  • Engage food drive hosts to maximize success and encourage virtual food drive usage where appropriate
  • Maintain and develop relationships with event sponsors and vendors in coordination with development efforts
  • Work with development staff to leverage events as donor engagement and prospect identification opportunities
  • Ensure food and fund drive materials are professional and aligned with sponsorship expectations
  • Understand and adhere to event budgets collaborating with finance and database teams
  • Maintain confidentiality and perform other job functions as assigned
  • Engage co-workers, volunteers, and committee members to support inclusive and well-coordinated events
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with clients, visitors, colleagues, and supervisors
