Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years-experience in event planning or related field
  • Proficient with computers and standard office software
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or comparable tools
  • Skilled in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Experience using collaboration platforms such as Teams, Zoom, or similar
  • Ability to lift 20 - 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform occasional physical tasks including working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and kneel
  • Ability to push and pull objects weighing over 20 pounds
  • Ability to move equipment or materials as required
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, or technology including but not limited to heavy machinery, forklifts, golf carts, vehicles
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions such as typing, writing, data entry, assembly work
  • Ability to work in noisy environments
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Flexibility to work extended evening, weekend, and holiday hours

Job Duties

  • Contribute to the daily operation of the Events and Entertainment Department including storage, inventory management, equipment maintenance, supply coordination, and supervision of part-time and game day crews
  • Conceptualize and implement event and entertainment initiatives that align with the Buccaneers' brand identity
  • Develop event plans, creative landscapes, activation strategies, and budget estimates under guidance from stakeholders and leadership
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of events held at team facilities or off-site locations
  • Coordinate with internal departments, stadium partners, and vendors for logistics, budgeting, food & beverage, audio-visual needs, setup, and teardown
  • Assist with game day logistics related to entertainment elements, including talent coordination, special effects, performances, third-party groups, and setup/breakdown of experiential activations
  • Serve as a liaison for operational and event-day details, ensuring timely and accurate information is shared with internal stakeholders, stadium partners, and external vendors
  • Organize scheduling, credentials, uniforms, parking passes, meals, and wristbands for part-time and game day staff
  • Assist with maintaining event equipment and supply inventory, minimizing loss or damage
  • Assist in budget adherence and procurement processes, including invoice processing and contract management
  • Maintain departmental reporting tools, project management systems, and general administrative tasks
  • Assist with organization and preparation of the department's facility calendar and scheduling processes while ensuring compliance with event guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Research and implement new trends and technologies to enhance the event experience
  • Support and mentor emerging talent within the department
  • Respond to public inquiries, support presentation and meeting preparations, maintain organized work and storage areas, and complete other assigned tasks as directed by the Director of Events
